Today I was lucky enough to snag a little time with a great keyboard player and musician Nigel Hopkins. Nigel has toured the world with Chris DeBurgh, Bonnie Tyler and more and played a pivotal role in Jon Lord’s classical shows and his celebration concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Over the two parts of this interview we chatted all things Hammond, Jon Lord, chatted underrated Prog bands like ‘IF” and talked about vintage synths form the 70’s and 80’s and wondered which of the 90’s synths is going to be the one that commands the big bucks in 25 years time!
